Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitters
Duties and Responsibilities include:
•
Install fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects - to include tenant improvements
•
Service existing systems
•
Order and track supplies
•
Lead and manage projects
•
Coordinate with local office regarding scheduling and progress of project
•
Schedule inspections with local authority having jurisdiction
•
Travel when required
Skills Required:
•
Formal Training and/or Field Experience
•
Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
•
Knowledge of NFPA #13 codes
•
Clean driving record
•
Pass pre-employment drug screen
•
Demonstrate good leadership skills
•
Demonstrate dependability
•
Ability to meet deadlines
Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities include:
•
Review all contracts and information documents related to projects
•
Produce Change Orders
•
Review fire protection design
•
Coordinate fabrication and field installation
•
Complete Schedule of Values
•
Calculate billing percentages
•
Attend jobsite and coordination meetings
•
Manage project process and completion
•
Provide close-out documentation
Skills Required:
•
Field/Design experience in the fire protection industry
•
Knowledge of NFPA #13 codes
•
Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
•
A knowledge of all contract documents
•
Clear communication skills
•
Ability to communication on a professional level
•
Familiar with billing process
•
Proficient computer skills
•
Demonstrate good leadership skills
•
Ability to work well with colleagues
•
Proficient business math skills
•
Some estimating experience
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Designer
Duties and Responsibilities include:
•
Reading and deciphering blueprints and architectural drawings
•
Complete field surveys
•
Attend jobsite and coordination meetings
•
Communicate with authorities having jurisdiction
•
Design layout of sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and AutoSprink
•
Perform hydraulic calculations using HAAS and AutoSprink
•
Complete stock list for fabrication
Skills Required:
•
NICET certification
•
AutoCAD proficiency
•
Understanding of blueprints and architectural drawings
•
Clear communication skills
•
Team player
•
Ability to follow directions
•
Ability to work independently
•
Ability to meet deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
